Learn more about Amery Golf Course!
Located 50 miles northeast of St. Paul, MN, in the beautiful “City of Lakes” Amery, Wisconsin. The Amery Golf Club is a mature 18 hole course with a scenic lay out and 4 sets of tees to challenge golfers of all ages and abilities. Originally built as a 9-hole golf course in 1922, AGC is one of the premier 18-hole golf courses in Northwestern Wisconsin. AGC provides a mix of challenges for golfers of all abilities. The course is walkable, or if you prefer to rent a cart, the cart trails provide thorough coverage of the course. Water, woods, sand and hills provide variety from hole to hole.
The 10th hole is a visual masterpiece, with a panoramic view and two bodies of water.
Water is in play on 9 of the 18 holes, with various dog legs, carries and bunkers placed throughout. The course provides a test while offering a day of fun and beautiful scenery. We have a large practice putting green and full driving range to tune your game or warm up before your round.
Amery Golf Club was selected as a qualifying site for the 2004 State Amateur tournament, and is a favorite choice for corporations and non-profit tournaments. Smaller tournaments, such as employees of small businesses and family reunions are also welcome to organize outings.
Also the city of Amery offers many activities besides golf with lakes, parks, rivers and trails, within minutes, making golf at the AGC ideal for a weekend get away. Lake Wappogasett, a popular fishing and resort lake, is only a few miles away. State parks, bike trails and unique shops and restaurants are nearby.
The staff at AGC is dedicated to provide a fun and inviting atmosphere during your golf experience. The Clubhouse features a full service bar, snacks, sandwiches, pizza and a small pro shop. It’s a perfect place to gather with your friends and family after a round of golf.
